Bio: Hello, my name is a Sam Schmitt, and I am a sophomore at Wake Forest University. I am excited to participate in Hit the Bricks this year and contribute to the funding of cancer research. Pictured in my profile image is a photo of my grandfather Boyce with my brothers and me. Tragically, he passed away in 2008 after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. So, cancer has had a close impact on my life and much of my family, and I am very passionate about fighting back against a disease that his hurt the lives of so many.
