Rachel King

Bio: Rachel joined the staff at Wake Forest University in 2015 working to support faculty in the School of Law. As a fresh graduate, she was curious about the inner workings of higher education institutions and accepted a role in the School of Law supporting faculty in both class preparation, but also with their scholarly endeavors. In April 2018, a role in the University’s legal department opened which would allow Rachel to focus on the University’s legal matters but to also work closely with key administrators and decision-making bodies (such as the Board of Trustees). She is currently serving as the legal department’s Director of Claims & Litigation and manages a wide-array of legal issues on behalf of the University. Rachel received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 2007 and her law degree from the University of Kentucky in 2014.
