Bio: Hello! My name is Emily Williamson. I am a 2nd year online student in the MaC program. After getting one solid year under my belt, I wanted to reach out to participate more with the Graduate life. Hit The Bricks is a perfect way. I have lived in the Greensboro area since 2007 and have met many, many people. Most recently, I have been a part of a LifeGroup that gives me such joy. One of the dear friends has a daughter, 2 years old, who has a massive tumor removed from her brain. She is a warrior princess and her momma and family are heroes! One of my husband's closest friends was diagnosed and succumbed to pancreatic cancer. This man was everything a hero could be, inspiring so many just by his lifestyle and high standards he held himself to. My mother-in-law has gone through breast cancer. Her mental fortitude kept her healthy through chemo and radiation - not even losing her hair!!!! She has such a great outlook for over-coming hardship. There's so many more I could honor, but I chose these three for what they mean to me.
