Jan Myers

Bio: Jan Myers is the Executive Director of Compensation and Benefits at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. In this role, Jan leads the evaluation, development, communication, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive and competitive total rewards strategy for faculty, staff, and retirees. Her focus is on researching and implementing best practices in the total rewards space to attract, retain, and engage remarkable people at Wake Forest. Over her career, she has been responsible for various human resources functions including HR operations, total rewards, talent acquisition, employee engagement and employee relations. She is a frequent presenter on compensation-related topics for human resource organizations, including CUPA-HR. Myers earned her undergraduate degree in Human Resources and her M.B.A. from Ohio University, and holds the Certified Compensation Professional designation.
