Community Participation 2023 – Inaugural Hit the Bricks-athon

Welcome Forsyth County community members! This page is dedicated to you, while the rest of this website will provide you with more info about Hit the Bricks and the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund.

How to Participate

This year, Hit the Bricks is seeking to grow our connection with the community of Winston-Salem to make this our most successful year yet! The link below will allow you to access our community fundraising packet, which explains how you can participate in our Inaugural Hit the Bricks-athon. Feel free to print this packet and share it with family and friends as you collect donations.

Participants will need to register to be considered for fundraising incentives. However, any and all donations are welcome, even if you don’t plan to fundraise per mile.

Important: When you register, please select “Community Member” and join the “Forsyth County” team. Please enter as many potential donors as you can! We will be waving the registration fee for community members. So, continue past that prompt and you can start collecting donations! If you would like, you can use the Donate tab to make a donation yourself.

Fundraising Incentives

Fundraising incentives will be distributed on the day of the event, October 5, 2023. More information on distribution will be forthcoming. The categories are:

$10 to $24 — Hit the Bricks sticker

$25 to $49 — Hit the Bricks bracelet

$50+ — Hit the Bricks t-shirt

The top 3 individual fundraisers who are registered on the Forsyth County team will receive an engraved champion’s brick.

Additional Info

This event will run the entire month of September. Donations can be made to a particular participant to count toward their fundraising total, or as a general donation.

We also offer sponsorship packages if you or your company is interested in becoming a sponsor. If so, please let us know!
