Bio: I am a native Russian speaker who attended a Russian school with a concentration in literature. I have full professional proficiency in English and limited working proficiency in Ukrainian. The latter language I acquired passively by being involved in the Ukrainian community and attending Ukrainian church in the United States. At Wake, I double-major in Engineering (Electrical & Computer Engineering Concentration) and Japanese Language & Culture with a minor in Biology. Post-graduation, I intend to pursue a Ph.D. in Ocean/Marine engineering, focusing on creating devices for ocean floor exploration via deepwater submersibles as well as marine life observation and study.
