Running in honor of: My grandparents

Bio: Hi! My name is Ava Balsinger, and I’m honored to serve as this year’s Senior Director for Hit the Bricks 2025. I’ve been involved with this event since my freshman year, and it’s hands down my favorite tradition on campus. I run for my family members who have battled cancer, and seeing firsthand how this disease impacts so many lives motivates me to work even harder to raise funds for the groundbreaking research happening right here in Winston-Salem. I’m so excited to see where this year takes us!
