Bio: Matthew frequently showed up to middle school PE class without a full PE uniform and was made to run laps as a punishment. As a result, he spent years studying theology and law to try to understand justice and whatever had motivated his sadistic PE teacher, all the while using his adulthood as leverage to avoid running ever again. After 26 years in the Wake Forest community, he has finally signed up for his first time as a Hit The Bricks participant, because he cares more about beating cancer than about beating Coach Daly.
