Bio: I’m a freshman at Wake interested in getting involved in all the causes that the school provides. I want to join Hit the Bricks because of a personal relationship affected due to cancer. One of my teachers in high school developed breast cancer during my junior year of high school (she was one of my tennis coaches and had to take a step away from some of our important matches due to appointments and pain). She thankfully ended up beating it in my senior year, so I want to run for her along with all those struggling/suffering through cancer.
