Bio: Hello! My name is Samantha, and I’m honored to serve as this year’s Senior Director of Hit the Bricks 2026. Hit the Bricks has not only been an instrumental part of my time at Wake Forest, but it is also a large part of why I chose Wake Forest. I lost my grandmother to cancer, and I have also watched my cousin and one of my best friends battle this disease. Seeing people I love experience the physical and emotional challenges of cancer has made this cause deeply personal to me and continues to inspire me every single day. Because of these experiences, it is an incredible privilege to be part of a mission dedicated to advancing cancer research. Thank you so much for your generosity as we bring hope to those currently battling cancer, honor those we have lost, and work toward a future with better treatments and, ultimately, a cure!
